NMDC Group Reports Robust Growth with Dh2.4 Billion Profit

Fri, Oct 30, 2026(1h ago)Business

NMDC Group has delivered a strong financial performance for the first nine months of 2026, posting a net profit of Dh2.4 billion. Despite a complex global operating climate, the company saw its revenue climb to Dh21.4 billion, a 4 percent year-on-year increase. This success was driven by efficient project execution across its core segments—energy, marine, and infrastructure—alongside a disciplined approach to cost management. The UAE remains the group's primary market, accounting for 78 percent of its revenue, while international operations continue to gain traction, representing the remaining 22 percent.

The group’s future outlook appears promising, supported by a massive project backlog valued at Dh54.1 billion, bolstered by Dh9.7 billion in new contract wins this year. To maintain this momentum, NMDC is aggressively upgrading its technical capabilities, most notably with the recent addition of the heavy-duty dredger "Abu Al Bakhoush" to its fleet of over 170 vessels. With a healthy net cash position of Dh3.9 billion and a renewed focus on integrating AI and digital technologies, leadership remains confident that their strategic expansion and financial stability will pave the way for continued success in both regional and international markets.
