Alpha Dhabi Commits $1 Billion to Alpha Wave III for AI Growth
Abu Dhabi-based Alpha Dhabi Holding has officially committed $1 billion to Alpha Wave III, a strategic investment fund managed by Alpha Wave Global. This move builds on the company’s previous successful collaboration with Alpha Wave Ventures II, which provided the firm with indirect exposure to tech giants like SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic. By backing this new fund, Alpha Dhabi aims to strengthen its footprint in the artificial intelligence sector and tap into high-growth businesses that are driving global technological innovation.
According to Eng. Hamad Al Ameri, the group’s managing director and CEO, this investment is a calculated step toward long-term portfolio diversification and shareholder value. The company plans to fund this commitment by recycling distributions from its earlier investments alongside existing internal resources. As capital is deployed over the coming years, Alpha Dhabi expects to benefit from the fund’s focus on transformative technologies, further cementing its position as a major player with a diverse portfolio spanning over 250 investments across 45 countries.
