UAE Weather Update: Generally Fair Skies with Rising Humidity

Tue, Jun 2, 2026(45d ago)UAE

On Tuesday, June 2, residents across the UAE can look forward to mostly fair weather conditions, according to the latest report from the National Centre of Meteorology. Throughout the day, light to moderate winds originating from the southwesterly and northwesterly directions will sweep across the region. While these winds will typically maintain a speed between 10 and 25 km/hr, they may occasionally pick up pace, reaching gusts of up to 40 km/hr. As for maritime conditions, the Arabian Gulf is expected to be slight to moderate, though it may turn rough by the night, while the Oman Sea will remain relatively calm.

Temperature readings are set to fluctuate significantly across the country, with some areas in Abu Dhabi reaching a sweltering 46ºC, while other regions may experience cooler lows of 23ºC. In the major urban centers, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah will see daytime peaks of 38ºC, 41ºC, and 41ºC, respectively, with nighttime lows settling in the high 20s. Residents should also prepare for an increase in atmospheric moisture, as humidity levels are projected to climb as high as 75 percent in Dubai and Sharjah, while Abu Dhabi will hover between 30 and 70 percent.
