Dubai Police Swiftly Return Luxury Watches Lost at DXB

Sun, Jun 14, 2026(2h ago)UAE

Dubai Police recently demonstrated their impressive efficiency after helping a GCC national retrieve a misplaced bag filled with high-value items at Terminal 1 of Dubai International Airport. The traveller had reported the missing luggage, which contained three luxury watches valued at Dh103,880, alongside a laptop and a tablet. Upon receiving the report, Colonel Abdullah Faisal Al Dosari and his team immediately initiated search protocols, reviewing security footage and deploying foot patrols to track the bag’s location. Thanks to their quick intervention, the items were secured and returned to their owner after the necessary verification processes were completed.

This successful recovery is part of a broader track record for Dubai Police, who frequently assist travellers in recovering forgotten valuables. From returning gold and cash to tracking down lost passports and silver bars worth millions, the force has solidified its reputation for safeguarding public property. With over 868,000 lost items handled in the past year alone, the department continues to leverage advanced technology and dedicated personnel across various hubs, including Smart Police Stations, to ensure that lost belongings are reunited with their owners with remarkable speed and professionalism.
