UAE Forecast: Rainfall Expected as Temperatures Reach 36ºC

Mon, Oct 26, 2026(1h ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather update for Monday, October 26, indicating a mix of fair to partly cloudy skies across the UAE. Residents in northern and eastern regions should prepare for potential rainfall as convective clouds are expected to develop throughout the day. Despite the chance of showers, the overall climate will remain warm, with inland areas potentially seeing temperatures climb as high as 40ºC, while Abu Dhabi and Dubai are forecasted to peak at a more moderate 36ºC.

As we head into the night and early Tuesday morning, humidity levels are set to rise, particularly in coastal and internal zones, which may lead to the formation of mist or fog. Winds are generally expected to be light to moderate, though they could pick up speed—reaching up to 50 kmph—near cloud formations, causing some dust to blow. Meanwhile, maritime conditions will remain relatively calm, with slight to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and slight conditions in the Sea of Oman.
