Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026: Residents Target One Billion Steps

Tue, Oct 27, 2026(51m ago)UAE

As the 10th annual Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) approaches, Dubai Residential has launched an ambitious initiative to get its community moving. Aiming to foster a healthier lifestyle among its residents, the organization has set a collective target of one billion steps across 21 different communities. This massive undertaking brings together over 146,000 residents to support the city’s broader 30x30 challenge, with the initiative backed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Sports Council.

To get involved, residents simply need to download the 'fitze' app, which will track daily progress from October 31 through November 29. The challenge is packed with incentives; beyond helping reach the billion-step goal, participants can vie for a share of Dh1 million in rewards, ranging from luxury staycations and international trips to shopping vouchers. Adding to the excitement, Talabat will serve as the official hydration partner, offering complimentary subscriptions to attendees at community fitness events, while top-performing walkers have the chance to win year-long Careem Plus memberships.
