Fujairah’s Musical Street Recognized as World’s Longest

Wed, Jun 17, 2026(45d ago)UAE

Fujairah has officially secured a place in the Guinness World Records, with its innovative "Musical Street" being named the longest of its kind globally. Stretching across 750 meters on Sheikh Khalifa Street, near the Fujairah Court entrance, the project was spearheaded by the Fujairah Fine Arts Academy. By embedding musical elements into the city's infrastructure, the initiative aims to seamlessly blend art into the daily routines of residents, turning an ordinary urban thoroughfare into an interactive and engaging cultural landmark.

The official recognition was celebrated at the Emiri Court, where Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, accepted the certificate from the academy’s leadership. During the event, the Crown Prince highlighted how such projects are vital for boosting community well-being and fulfilling the emirate's vision of fostering a vibrant artistic environment. This achievement underscores Fujairah’s ongoing commitment to supporting creative public spaces, reflecting a broader strategy to establish the emirate as a premier destination for cultural innovation and artistic expression.
