UAE Weather Forecast: Sunny Skies, Scattered Rain and Rising Temperatures

Sat, Jul 18, 2026(4h ago)UAE

Residents across the UAE should prepare for a mix of conditions this Saturday, July 18, as the weather remains generally fair with periods of partial cloudiness. While much of the country will enjoy a bright day, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has flagged the potential for convective cloud formation, particularly over the eastern and southern regions. These clouds bring a possibility of isolated rainfall, providing a brief break from the intense summer heat that saw temperatures climb as high as 47.6°C in Sweihan yesterday.

As the day transitions into night, humidity levels are set to climb, creating a high probability of fog or mist, especially along the western coastal areas. Motorists should exercise caution during the early hours of Sunday due to the expected decline in visibility. Meanwhile, temperatures will remain sweltering, with highs expected to reach 43°C in Dubai, 44°C in Abu Dhabi, and 42°C in Sharjah. Winds will stay mostly light to moderate, occasionally picking up speed, while marine conditions are predicted to stay calm across both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
