UAE Residents Offered Visa-Free Travel to Montenegro

Wed, Jul 29, 2026(1h ago)UAE

Montenegro has officially rolled out a temporary visa exemption for UAE residents, making it easier than ever to explore the country’s stunning Adriatic coastline and mountainous landscapes. Under this new policy, which remains in effect until October 1, 2026, eligible individuals can enjoy a stay of up to 10 days without the hassle of a traditional visa application. The initiative is designed to bolster tourism and streamline travel connectivity between the two regions, offering a convenient window for those looking to experience Montenegro’s rich history and picturesque towns.

To qualify for this benefit, travelers must hold a valid UAE residence permit for at least three consecutive years. It is important to note that this exemption is strictly applicable to those arriving on direct flights from the UAE to Montenegro. Currently, Flydubai operates four weekly direct flights from Dubai to Tivat, making the journey seamless for residents. Travelers should ensure they carry their valid passports and proof of their travel or tourist arrangements, and it is always a good idea to verify the latest entry protocols with official channels before finalizing any travel plans.
