In a move to deepen the global research ties of Sharjah, Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi has officially accepted the role of patron for the Magdi Yacoub Institute. The announcement took place during her visit to the Institute’s Heart Science Centre in the UK, where she was greeted by the renowned cardiac surgeon Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub.
