Honouring Emirati Mothers of Heroes: A Journey of Pride and Reflection
In celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, under the theme "Together, We Rise Stronger and Better," the Fallen Heroes’ Affairs Office and the Emirates Council for Balanced Development hosted the "Al Fakhr Mothers’ Journey." This special initiative honored the mothers of the nation’s fallen heroes by taking them on a commemorative trip from the Northern Emirates to Abu Dhabi via Etihad Rail. Throughout the day, the participants visited the Zayed National Museum, where they explored the deep cultural heritage and visionary leadership of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The program was carefully designed to provide comfort and care, offering these inspiring women a space to connect, share memories, and reflect on the legacy of their families.
The initiative underscored the UAE’s profound gratitude for the immense sacrifices made by these families, highlighting the mothers as enduring symbols of patience and national pride. Through workshops and interactive sessions, the event celebrated the critical role Emirati women play in nurturing future generations and contributing to the country’s progress. Officials, including Abdullah Ghurair Al Qubaisi and Mohammed Khalifa Al Kaabi, emphasized that honoring these mothers is a national duty, reflecting the UAE's commitment to social cohesion and the lasting recognition of those who raised heroes dedicated to the nation’s service.
