UAE to Host Nationwide Early Childhood Week with Over 700 Events

Wed, Nov 4, 2026(2h ago)UAE

Families throughout the UAE are set to benefit from an extensive lineup of activities, as the nation prepares to launch its inaugural Early Childhood Week. This new initiative, scheduled to run from November 16 to 22, 2026, aims to foster stronger connections between children and their caregivers by encouraging them to participate in learning and play-based sessions together. The program serves as a cornerstone of the broader "Year of Family" movement, highlighting the country's commitment to nurturing its youngest generation.

Sana bint Mohammed Suhail, the Minister of Family, confirmed that the massive undertaking will feature over 700 distinct events hosted across all seven emirates. With more than 130 organizations collaborating to provide these resources, the week promises to be an inclusive celebration of childhood development. From educational workshops to interactive play zones, the initiative is designed to provide families with meaningful opportunities to engage with their children in supportive environments.
