Ahead of its highly anticipated grand opening on December 11, the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi is building momentum with a vibrant month-long series of events held across the city’s major cultural hubs. Throughout September, the museum is hosting a variety of workshops, discussions, and artistic performances designed to give the public a sneak peek into the themes and vision that will define the institution. These initiatives, spanning venues like Manarat Al Saadiyat and the Louvre Abu Dhabi, foster a deep connection between the museum’s curators, local artists, and the community.

The program highlights include "Network of Answers" by Agatha Gothe-Snape at Manarat Al Saadiyat, an interactive installation that invites visitors to contribute their own memories to a collective archive. This is complemented by a tribute to the late Egyptian artist Chant Avedissian, featuring workshops and talks, and a deep-dive conversation at Louvre Abu Dhabi between artist Rachid Koraïchi and curator Abdelkader Damani. As the project nears its official launch in the Saadiyat Cultural District, these events serve as a precursor to a wider calendar of outreach efforts, signaling a new chapter for the landmark collaboration between the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and the Solomon R.
