Dubai Police Crack Down on Unlicensed Nurseries
Dubai authorities have taken decisive action to safeguard child welfare by shutting down 33 illegal nurseries operating throughout the emirate. During the operation, police arrested 34 individuals found responsible for running these facilities, many of which were discovered hidden within residential homes and other unsuitable locations that failed to meet standard infrastructure requirements.
Officials highlighted that these makeshift facilities were entirely unregulated, posing significant risks to the children in their care. The nurseries completely lacked essential hygiene, health, and safety protocols, creating an environment where youngsters were vulnerable to potential neglect and dangerous conditions. This enforcement action serves as a strong reminder of the importance of choosing only government-approved childcare services to ensure the safety and well-being of children in Dubai.
