Dubai Opens Registration for the Fifth Season of Souk Al Freej
Dubai Municipality has officially opened registration for the fifth season of Souk Al Freej, a popular community market designed to support local entrepreneurs, small business owners, and productive families. Running from December 11 to January 17, this initiative will rotate through three prominent public parks: Nad Al Sheba Rose Garden, Al Barsha Pond Park, and Al Warqa Park. With 50 stalls available, the market offers a unique retail platform for participants to showcase everything from homemade culinary treats and fashion pieces to sustainable goods and handicrafts, all while engaging directly with the community in a vibrant, open-air environment.
Beyond the shopping experience, the upcoming season introduces several exciting new attractions, including an immersive Asian Village, a dedicated Gen Z zone, and various interactive workshops. Families can also look forward to kid-friendly free-play areas, a thrilling zipline, and an engaging treasure hunt designed to guide visitors through the marketâs offerings. By transforming these public spaces into cultural and economic hubs, Dubai Municipality aims to foster community connection and provide a valuable boost to small-scale businesses, building on the success of the previous edition which drew over 300,000 visitors. Interested entrepreneurs can apply for a spot through the official Dubai Municipality website.
