Diwali Weather Forecast: Will UAE See Rain During the Festival of Lights?
As the UAE prepares to celebrate the Festival of Lights, residents are busy decorating their homes with vibrant lamps and twinkling fairy lights. With a pleasant, slight chill settling into the air, many are excited to take their Diwali celebrations outdoors this weekend. Following a week that brought unexpected bouts of rain and hail to various regions, many are wondering if they should have a backup plan for their festivities.
Fortunately, the National Centre of Meteorology has provided a promising forecast for Sunday, predicting fair to partly cloudy skies with no rain on the horizon. While some cloud cover might linger over the northern and eastern parts of the country, the weather is expected to remain bright and sunny across major hubs like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. Temperatures will reach daytime highs between 35ºC and 38ºC, cooling down to a comfortable 24ºC to 26ºC in the evenings, making it ideal weather for outdoor gatherings and celebrations.
