Fujairah Experiences Sudden Hail and Heavy Downpours

Wed, Nov 4, 2026(1h ago)UAE

On Wednesday, November 4, residents across various parts of Fujairah witnessed a dramatic shift in weather as heavy rainfall and hail swept through the emirate. This latest bout of inclement weather is a clear sign that the UAE is transitioning into the cooler winter season. Social media platforms have been flooded with footage from areas like Dadna, Sharm, and Dibba, showing drivers carefully navigating rain-slicked roads while pellets of hail blanketed the ground.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) had previously forecasted unstable conditions for November, warning that cloud formations would likely lead to increased precipitation, gusty winds, and dusty spells. This recent activity follows a series of rainy days earlier in the week that also impacted regions like Masafi and Diftah. As the showers persist, the nation is seeing a steady decline in temperatures, with the mercury hitting a brisk 16.4°C at Jais Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah early this morning.
