Bahrain Condemns Iran’s Aggression: Security Cannot Be Built Through Violence
In a firm response to the recent launch of ballistic missiles targeting Bahrain and Kuwait, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a strong condemnation, labeling the acts as "blatant aggression" that directly violates international law. While asserting that its commitment to regional stability remains a priority, the government underscored that its patience should not be mistaken for weakness. Officials made it clear that while they advocate for peace, the defense of their sovereignty and the protection of their citizens serve as absolute red lines that will be defended through all necessary legitimate measures.
Beyond the missile strikes, Bahrain has called on Iran to immediately disclose the coordinates of sea mines planted in regional waters and cooperate in their removal, emphasizing that true stability is never achieved through such hazardous tactics. Furthermore, the nation is demanding that Iran comply with international mandates by reopening the Strait of Hormuz without restrictions or illegal fees. Highlighting a growing humanitarian crisis, Bahrain is also urging the establishment of a secure corridor to ensure the safety of over 20,000 stranded sailors, insisting that Iran must allow civilian vessels to navigate freely so that these individuals can return home to their families.
