Qatar Denies False Claims of Failed US-Iran Negotiations
The Qatari government has officially rejected recent online reports suggesting that diplomatic efforts between the United States and Iran have collapsed. Through its International Media Office, Qatar labeled these claims as both false and misleading, warning that such misinformation is being spread by malicious social media accounts. Doha emphasized that these fabricated narratives are designed to sabotage ongoing diplomatic progress and intentionally stir up further instability within the region.
Qatari officials maintain that negotiations remain active, with the country continuing its role as a key mediator in close coordination with both Washington and Tehran. Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani recently reaffirmed that the U.S. remains committed to finding a viable solution, noting that significant strides have already been made. Rather than chasing a perfect deal, Qatari leadership is pushing for a practical and effective agreement that can help de-escalate tensions and prevent further conflict in the region.
