DP World Introduces UAE E-Invoicing Solution Ahead of 2027 Mandate
Global logistics leader DP World has unveiled a new e-invoicing solution for the UAE, positioning itself as a pre-approved service provider under the Ministry of Finance. This initiative comes in anticipation of the country’s shift toward a mandatory digital invoicing system, which begins with a pilot phase on July 1, 2026. Businesses earning over Dh50 million annually are required to secure an accredited provider by October 30, 2026, to meet the full nationwide implementation deadline set for January 2027.
The platform is designed to streamline financial workflows by embedding compliance directly into existing supply chain and logistics systems. By automating these processes, companies can expect faster settlement cycles, improved accuracy, and enhanced traceability for cross-border transactions. Furthermore, because the infrastructure is hosted locally within the UAE, businesses can rest assured that their sensitive financial data remains secure and fully compliant with national data sovereignty regulations. DP World has already begun onboarding clients to assist with the transition, helping firms minimize operational disruption while ensuring they are ready for the upcoming regulatory requirements.
