DGHR Unveils 'Human Resources Law Elite' to Elevate Institutional Governance
The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has officially introduced the "Human Resources Law Elite" initiative, a strategic effort aimed at refining institutional governance and improving administrative decision-making throughout the public sector. By focusing on Emirati legal professionals, the program seeks to harmonize legal and human resources practices across various government bodies. The curriculum is meticulously crafted using data from the DGHRās Legal Inquiries Portal, which has processed over 2,000 queries since 2020. This data-driven approach ensures that the training directly addresses the most pressing operational challenges and practical legal hurdles faced by government departments today.
The initiative adopts a collaborative, phased model, initially involving representatives from key entities like the RTA, Dubai Municipality, and Dubai Customs. Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of DGHR, emphasized that the program is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical legislation and everyday institutional practice, fostering a more agile and future-ready government. Through specialized forums, case studies, and the analysis of judicial precedents, participants will explore complex topics ranging from recruitment policies to disciplinary procedures. Ultimately, the project aims to create a sustainable pool of legal expertise, documenting success stories and establishing a robust framework that supports consistent, high-quality governance across the emirate.
