ADGM Experiences Rapid Growth with AUM Surging 54%
Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) has cemented its position as a powerhouse in the international finance sector, reporting a stellar performance in the first half of 2026. Assets under management soared by 54% year-on-year, maintaining a streak of success that has persisted since 2022. This momentum is reflected in both the volume of capital and human resources, with the workforce across Al Maryah and Al Reem Islands climbing to over 49,000 professionals. With nearly 14,000 active licenses and a surge in financial entities, the jurisdiction is proving to be a premier destination for global heavyweights like Man Group and Bain Capital, who are collectively overseeing more than $2.1 trillion in assets.
Beyond traditional finance, ADGM is making significant strides in the artificial intelligence landscape, with over $100 billion in AI-focused capital currently deployed from its ecosystem. The centre is not just hosting these firms but is also transforming its own operations, having successfully integrated AI across various business functions to significantly reduce manual workloads. Looking ahead, ADGM has committed to a Dh400 million investment in technology through 2029. This strategic focus on digital infrastructure and regulatory modernization is designed to sustain Abu Dhabiâs trajectory as a trusted, globally connected financial hub that effectively bridges international capital with high-growth opportunities.
