Rare Collectible Cars Set for High-Profile Auction in Abu Dhabi
This December, Abu Dhabi is set to host an exclusive auction featuring some of the world’s most sought-after collector vehicles. RM Sotheby’s, the industry leader in high-end car auctions, has officially unveiled a curated selection of rare automobiles that will go under the hammer on December 9. The lineup is dominated by a prestigious array of Ferraris, though the collection also includes iconic performance machines from Lamborghini and Lancia. With pre-auction estimates ranging from $80,000 to $850,000, the event promises to draw both seasoned investors and passionate car enthusiasts from across the Middle East and beyond.
The star of the show is a low-mileage Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M, which is expected to fetch between $700,000 and $850,000. Other notable Ferraris joining the block include a highly maintained 2004 360 Challenge Stradale, a unique Ivory Cream 2010 599 GTB Fiorano, and a customized 2006 612 Scaglietti offered without reserve. Beyond the prancing horse, collectors can bid on a rare 2004 Lamborghini Murciélago equipped with a sought-after six-speed manual transmission, as well as a 1991 Lancia Delta HF Integrale “Martini 5,” one of only 400 ever produced to commemorate the brand's rally dominance. According to Duccio Filippo Lopresto of RM Sotheby’s, the event is designed to celebrate the deep-rooted appreciation for automotive craftsmanship found within the region's vibrant collecting community.
