Bodies of three Telangana workers killed in Dubai road accident to be repatriated soon
The mortal remains of three workers from Telangana, who tragically lost their lives in a devastating minibus crash on Dubai's Emirates Road earlier this week, are expected to be flown back to India within the next 48 hours. Choppadandi MLA Medipally Sathyam has been on the ground in Dubai to personally oversee the repatriation process, working closely with the Indian Consulate and local welfare organizations to cut through the necessary red tape. The accident, which occurred on June 8 when a minibus struck a stationary truck, claimed seven lives in total, with the three deceased Telangana men leaving behind grieving families in economically vulnerable conditions.
Support efforts are being spearheaded by community groups like the Telugu Rasamayi UAE, who are coordinating with authorities to ensure a smooth transition for the families. Dr. SV Reddy, the TPCC NRI Cell Convenor, confirmed that while the documentation process is nearing completion, one additional worker from Telangana remains hospitalized at Rashid Hospital following the collision. Once the paperwork is finalized, the families are prepared to hold the final rites immediately upon the arrival of the bodies in their home district of Karimnagar, bringing some measure of closure to this heartbreaking ordeal.
