UAE Weather: Mercury to Climb to 42ºC Across Emirates

Fri, Jun 12, 2026(1d ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecasted generally fair skies across the UAE for Saturday, June 13, with some cloud cover expected to develop over eastern regions. Residents should prepare for humid conditions moving into the night and early Sunday morning, particularly in coastal and internal zones, where there is a notable chance of mist or light fog settling in.

As for the temperatures, the summer heat continues to intensify in major urban centers. Abu Dhabi and Sharjah are set to reach peak highs of 42ºC, while Dubai will see temperatures climb to 40ºC. Overnight, the mercury is expected to drop to lows between 29ºC and 30ºC. Winds will remain light to moderate, generally blowing from the southwesterly to northwesterly directions at speeds of 10-20 km/hr, occasionally picking up to 30 km/hr, while sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are expected to be calm.
