Alhind to Launch Indian Consular Services in UAE Starting July 2026

Fri, Jun 12, 2026(2h ago)UAE

Starting July 1, 2026, Alhind Tours and Travels LLC will officially take over as the exclusive provider for all Indian passport, visa, and consular services across the UAE. This transition, which follows a competitive bidding process, will see the company replace current providers BLS International and SGIVS Global. The Indian Embassy has advised the country’s 3.5 million Indian expatriates to wrap up any pending applications with the existing service providers before the June 30 deadline to ensure a smooth transition.

To support this massive operational undertaking, Alhind is establishing 16 dedicated service centers across all seven emirates, including a flagship facility in Bur Dubai featuring over 45 counters. With a workforce of more than 400 employees and a commitment to affordable pricing—capped at a Dh19 service fee—the company aims to significantly reduce wait times and improve accessibility. As the handover date approaches, officials are urging applicants to ignore rumors and rely exclusively on official embassy channels for verified information regarding new procedures and operating hours.
