The long-awaited era of inter-emirate rail travel in the UAE is finally here, with ticket bookings officially open for the new Abu Dhabi to Fujairah service. Starting June 30, passengers can enjoy a significant 50 percent launch discount, with Comfort Class tickets priced as low as Dh55 and Premium Class options starting at Dh120. This initial route marks the beginning of a broader national network, with services set to expand to Dubai, Al Dhaid, Al Dhafra, and Sharjah throughout 2026 and early 2027.

Travelers can easily secure their seats via the official Etihad Rail website or mobile app. The journey between Abu Dhabi and Fujairah is designed to be both quick and comfortable, clocking in at just one hour and 45 minutes. Each train accommodates up to 400 passengers and features modern amenities, including onboard Wi-Fi and guaranteed seating. Stations in both Abu Dhabi (Mohamed Bin Zayed City) and Fujairah (Al Hilal City) will operate daily from 5am to 11pm, offering comprehensive facilities such as dining outlets, waiting areas, and convenient transport links to ensure a seamless experience for commuters and tourists alike.
