UAE Forecast: Scattered Showers and Warm Temperatures Expected

Thu, Nov 5, 2026(2h ago)UAE

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted fair to partly cloudy conditions across the UAE for Friday, November 6. Residents should keep an eye out for potential rainfall in the afternoon, particularly in the northern and eastern regions, where the development of convective clouds may trigger light showers.

Along with the clouds, expect light to moderate winds shifting from southeasterly to northeasterly directions. These winds could pick up speed, reaching up to 40 km/hr at times, which may result in blowing dust in some areas. Meanwhile, maritime conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to be slight to moderate, while the Oman Sea will remain generally calm.

Temperatures remain warm as we head into the weekend, with major cities like Dubai and Sharjah seeing highs of 35ÂșC, while Abu Dhabi will reach a peak of 36ÂșC. As the sun sets, temperatures will drop to a comfortable range, hovering between 24ÂșC and 27ÂșC across these urban centers.
