Dubai RTA Rolls Out 'Aber' Mobile Vehicle Inspection Service Starting at Dh370

Wed, Jun 24, 2026(2h ago)UAE

Selling your car or maintaining a fleet just got significantly easier thanks to the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) new 'Aber' service. Instead of navigating traffic to reach a testing center, residents can now have RTA-certified inspectors come directly to their home, office, or business site. This on-demand solution covers a comprehensive range of needs, including registration renewals, vehicle transfers, and export testing. With prices starting at Dh370, customers can even have up to nine vehicles inspected during a single visit, streamlining the administrative process for busy car owners and businesses alike.

Beyond standard passenger vehicles, the Aber service extends to heavy machinery and specialized transport. Businesses can request on-site inspections for equipment starting at Dh190, while food trucks—including chiller, freezer, and dry transport units—can be inspected for quality and permit renewals starting at Dh225. To take advantage of this convenience, users simply need to book through the RTA’s digital platforms, providing their Emirates ID, Mulkiya, and valid insurance. By bringing these essential services directly to the customer, the RTA is effectively reducing the time and logistical burden associated with mandatory vehicle compliance across the UAE.
