Beat the Dubai Heat: Dubai Sports World Offers Free Gym Access and Indoor Fitness

Wed, Jun 24, 2026(3h ago)UAE

As temperatures soar across the UAE, maintaining a fitness routine often becomes a challenge for those accustomed to outdoor exercise. To help residents stay active without the high cost of a gym membership, Dubai Sports World has returned to the Dubai World Trade Centre for its 16th consecutive year. Spanning an impressive 282,000 square feet of climate-controlled space, this massive indoor hub provides a perfect escape from the summer heat, offering everything from professional sports courts to casual fitness zones. The facility remains open daily from 8am until midnight and will continue welcoming visitors until August 25.

What sets this year’s event apart is the inclusion of a fully equipped, free-to-use gym featuring a variety of cardio machines and resistance weights, alongside a dedicated 1km track for indoor jogging and walking. Beyond the workout areas, the venue hosts 41 diverse sports zones—ranging from football and padel to badminton and cricket—and features seventeen sports academies for those looking to improve their skills. With additional perks like children’s play areas, gaming zones, and food trucks, Dubai Sports World has evolved into a comprehensive community destination, ensuring that families and athletes alike can stay healthy and entertained throughout the summer school holidays.
