UAE Denounces Mosque Attacks by Israeli Settlers in West Bank

Mon, Jul 27, 2026(1h ago)UAE

The United Arab Emirates has issued a stern condemnation regarding the recent surge in violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinian villages in the occupied West Bank, specifically highlighting the arson attack on a mosque in Tulkarm. Emphasizing that these acts serve as inflammatory provocations and clear displays of extremism, the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged the Israeli government to take immediate responsibility. The UAE warned that inaction against these perpetrators will be viewed as a tacit endorsement of such violence, ultimately fueling deeper cycles of racism, hatred, and instability across the region.

These tensions have been escalating following a series of violent clashes throughout the year, including a deadly standoff near Nablus that resulted in multiple fatalities. Following the latest reports of mosques being torched and hateful graffiti being sprayed on buildings, the UAE is calling upon the international community to intervene and uphold its responsibilities. By urging an end to these illegal practices, the UAE maintains that such violations directly undermine the prospects of a two-state solution and emphasizes the urgent need for a renewed international effort to secure a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
