UAE President Attends Munich Business Forum, Secures $10 Billion in Deals
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited Munich this September to spearhead the Germany-UAE Business Forum, an event aimed at strengthening the strategic economic ties between the two nations. During the forum, Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the essential role that the private sector plays in driving innovation and expanding investment. He encouraged business leaders to look beyond existing frameworks to forge new, high-impact partnerships that prioritize sectors like artificial intelligence, advanced technology, and clean energy.
The summit proved highly productive, resulting in the formalization of 30 agreements and partnerships valued at approximately $10 billion. These deals span a wide range of critical industries, including logistics, healthcare, food security, and infrastructure. By bringing together key officials and investors from both countries, the forum served as a vital bridge for translating mutual economic goals into actionable projects, ultimately bolstering the long-term growth and competitiveness of both the UAE and Germany on the global stage.
