UAE Weather Forecast: Temperatures to Soar to 42°C Across Emirates
The UAE is set for a mix of fair to partly cloudy conditions this Saturday, with the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reporting that cloud cover may increase over eastern regions. As the day progresses, residents should prepare for rising heat, as thermometers are projected to climb to 42°C in Abu Dhabi, 41°C in Dubai, and 39°C in Sharjah. Nighttime temperatures will offer some relief, dropping to lows of 29°C in the capital, 27°C in Dubai, and 28°C in Sharjah.
In addition to the heat, moisture levels are expected to rise significantly overnight and into Sunday morning. The NCM has warned that coastal and internal zones could see high humidity, with a potential for mist to develop, particularly in western parts of the country. Winds will remain relatively calm, blowing at speeds between 10 and 20 km/hr, though gusts may occasionally reach 30 km/hr. Conditions at sea are expected to be calm, with slight waves anticipated in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
