As the season transitions, the skies at dawn will be graced by constellations such as Taurus, Gemini, and Leo, signaling a gradual shift in weather patterns. Ibrahim Al Jarwan, head of the Emirates Astronomical Society, noted that while the early weeks will still see temperatures hover around 39°C, the mercury is expected to steadily decline, eventually dropping to a comfortable 13°C as we approach the winter solstice in December.

Beyond the cooling temperatures, the season marks a significant period for the environment and agriculture across the Arabian Peninsula. Increased humidity during the first half of autumn will likely lead to foggy mornings, while mid-October is expected to bring the first signs of winter cloud cover and a higher probability of rainfall. Furthermore, this period is considered the optimal window for agricultural activities, making it the perfect time for sowing seeds and transplanting seedlings as the daylight hours shorten and the nights grow longer following the autumnal equinox.
