Dubai Health has officially rolled out a new smart paid parking management system, beginning with an initial phase at Rashid Hospital this week. Partnering with Parkin, the city's leading parking provider, the initiative is designed to streamline vehicle access for patients and visitors. While the system introduces paid parking, it ensures that those seeking medical care—including emergency, outpatient, and laboratory services—retain free parking privileges for the duration of their appointments.

For visitors, the system offers up to three hours of free parking daily, while those visiting admitted patients are granted 24-hour access, with options for extensions if necessary. The policy also maintains dedicated support for vulnerable groups, offering complimentary valet parking for seniors, pregnant women, and People of Determination. Additionally, the facility now offers optional premium services, including car washes, EV charging stations, and valet options, while providing a 30-minute grace period for quick drop-offs and pick-ups.
