The UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has recently uncovered 377 instances of fraudulent Emiratisation involving 266 private-sector businesses during the first half of 2026. Authorities have moved swiftly to initiate legal proceedings against these companies, reinforcing the government's commitment to maintaining transparency and integrity within the national workforce strategy.

While these findings highlight a significant breach of policy, the Ministry emphasized that such activities remain isolated incidents and do not reflect the broader conduct of the UAE labour market. To safeguard the program’s objectives, officials are encouraging both private firms and Emirati citizens to strictly adhere to labor regulations and report any suspicious activities through the official Ministry hotline, website, or smart application.
