UAE weather: Clear skies and sweltering heat across the Emirates

Sat, May 30, 2026(45d ago)UAE

Residents across the UAE can look forward to predominantly fair and clear skies this Saturday, May 30, as reported by the National Centre of Meteorology. While conditions remain pleasant for outdoor activities in the early hours, the mercury is set to climb significantly throughout the day. Winds will shift from southeasterly to northwesterly, maintaining a light to moderate breeze that could occasionally pick up to speeds of 35 kmph.

Temperatures are expected to peak in the low-to-mid 40s, with Abu Dhabi hitting a high of 44°C, followed by Sharjah at 42°C and Dubai at 41°C. Despite these high daytime figures, evening temperatures will offer some relief, dropping to the mid-to-high 20s. For those heading to the coast, conditions look favorable, with the Arabian Gulf experiencing slight to moderate waves, while the Oman Sea is expected to remain relatively calm. This follows a scorching Friday, which saw Al Gheweifat in the Al Dhafra region record a peak temperature of 48.5°C.
