Mon, May 18, 2026(95d ago)World

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior recently announced a successful operation that led to the arrest of 11 individuals involved in a series of separate narcotics cases. The suspects represent a diverse group, including two Kuwaiti citizens, an Egyptian national, two Bangladeshi nationals, one Indian national, two Nepalese nationals, and three individuals without formal citizenship.

During the raids, officials confiscated a substantial collection of illegal goods, including various narcotics such as methamphetamine, heroin, hashish, cocaine, and hundreds of Lyrica and Captagon pills. Beyond the substances, authorities recovered illicit alcohol, drug-weighing equipment, and a significant cache of weaponry, including a firearm and nearly 40 rounds of live ammunition. Having secured the evidence and the suspects, officials have now referred the group to the appropriate legal authorities to face prosecution and further investigation.
