Tecom Group Experiences Strong Growth in First Half of 2026

Fri, Jul 31, 2026(45d ago)Business

Tecom Group has posted a robust financial performance for the first half of 2026, with recurring net profit climbing 9% year-on-year to Dh805 million. This upward trend was fueled by a 11% rise in revenue, reaching over Dh1.5 billion, and a healthy EBITDA of Dh1.2 billion. The company’s success is largely attributed to high demand across its 10 specialized Dubai business districts, where commercial and industrial occupancy rates hit an impressive 97%. Driven by this strong operational momentum and a 12% increase in funds from operations, the board has approved an interim cash dividend of Dh440 million, slated for payout in August.

Strategic expansion and operational efficiency remain at the heart of Tecom Group's growth strategy. Throughout the first half of the year, the company secured major partnerships, including the launch of Hisense’s regional headquarters and new industrial facilities at Dubai Industrial City. Beyond physical expansion, the group is doubling down on sustainability, with 81 of its buildings now LEED-certified and a significant portion of its energy consumption being met by renewable sources. As management continues to balance portfolio development with financial prudence, the group remains well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of both regional and international businesses operating within its ecosystem.
