UAE Fuel Prices Rise for August 2026: What Motorists Should Expect
Starting August 1, 2026, motorists across the UAE will face a slight uptick in their monthly commuting costs as fuel prices have been raised by 20 fils per litre across all categories. This adjustment arrives during a period of ongoing global market volatility, largely influenced by fragile geopolitical conditions and lingering regional tensions.
For those planning their monthly budgets, the impact will vary based on vehicle size, resulting in an additional cost of approximately Dh10.2 to Dh14.8 for a full tank compared to July rates. Specifically, owners of compact cars with a 51-litre capacity, sedans with 62-litre tanks, and SUVs carrying around 74 litres will all see these incremental increases reflected at the pumps starting this month.
