Emaar Announces Massive Dh4.4 Billion Special Dividend for Shareholders

Thu, Sep 17, 2026(1h ago)Finance

Dubai’s real estate giant, Emaar Properties, has officially greenlit a special one-time dividend of Dh4.4 billion, equivalent to Dh0.5 per share. Following a recent board meeting focused on capital allocation, the company confirmed that this payout is meant to reward its investors, sitting on top of the regular annual dividends already approved earlier this year. This latest move signals the company's strong financial position and its commitment to maximizing value for its shareholders.

This special payout follows a period of historic financial performance for the developer, which recently reported record-breaking sales of Dh80.4 billion and a significant 36% jump in net profit before tax. With a massive revenue backlog of Dh155 billion providing a clear outlook for the future, the company is also actively exploring new strategies to unlock further value across its business units. While the dividend is still subject to formal approval at the upcoming general assembly and standard regulatory checks, it reflects a period of unprecedented growth and stability for one of Dubai’s most prominent firms.
