Abu Dhabi Recognized as Global Leader in Real Estate Transparency
Abu Dhabi has officially earned the title of the world’s most improved real estate market, according to the latest Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) 2026 Global Real Estate Transparency Index. The capital of the UAE surged eight spots to rank 33rd globally, a significant jump from its 41st position in 2024. This rapid ascent is largely credited to the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre’s (ADREC) commitment to digital transformation, which includes the rollout of public-facing dashboards, unit-level transaction tracking, and open APIs that allow for seamless data integration.
This strategic push toward openness is a vital component of the emirate's broader economic diversification goals. By fostering a more structured and predictable environment, Abu Dhabi is successfully attracting increased global capital, aligning itself with regional transparency leaders like Dubai and Saudi Arabia. As international investors continue to favor markets with high regulatory maturity, Abu Dhabi's ongoing efforts to digitize services and provide reliable, accessible market data are expected to solidify its reputation as a top-tier destination for real estate investment.
