Aldar Reports Strong 9-Month Growth Driven by Diversified Portfolio
Aldar has delivered a robust financial performance for the first nine months of 2026, reporting a 19% surge in net profit to Dh7.1 billion. This growth was largely fueled by a resilient investment property portfolio and the successful conversion of its extensive revenue backlog. While the group’s quarterly revenue climbed to Dh9.3 billion, contributing to a nine-month total of Dh26.2 billion, the company remains focused on project delivery. With a solid revenue backlog of Dh71.6 billion, Aldar maintains clear visibility on its earnings trajectory for the next few years, supported by the handover of nearly 2,000 homes since the start of the year.
While the UAE market saw a year-over-year decline in new sales, Aldar successfully pivoted through international expansion and strategic project launches. The company launched 12 new projects year-to-date, including notable developments like Yas Riva Reserve and Al Ghadeer Gardens. Meanwhile, the developer’s international ventures proved exceptionally successful; its Egyptian subsidiary, SODIC, saw sales nearly double with a 99% increase, and London Square contributed Dh978 million to the group’s revenue, marking a 177% jump compared to the previous year. These international gains underscore the effectiveness of Aldar’s diversified strategy in sustaining momentum despite shifting domestic sales trends.
