Double Dubai Duty Free Winner Antoine Labaki Plans Future in UAE

Thu, Jul 30, 2026(1h ago)UAE

Antoine Labaki, a 53-year-old construction entrepreneur from Beirut, has struck gold for the third time in his long-standing association with Dubai Duty Free. After previously winning a luxury car in 2004 and his first $1 million jackpot in 2018, Labaki recently became only the 12th person to win the prestigious Millennium Millionaire promotion twice. He recalls receiving the life-changing phone call while having coffee with his sister, instantly recognizing the caller from his previous win. While his first million-dollar prize was lost after being transferred to Lebanon, this latest victory has prompted a significant change in his financial strategy.

Determined not to repeat his past mistakes, Labaki plans to keep his latest winnings within the UAE, citing the city's safety and economic stability as his primary motivation. He is currently exploring opportunities to establish a business in Dubai and hopes to purchase a home for his family, who are eager to move to the city they have grown to love. With a newfound commitment to participating in the draw, Labaki credits the city for his success, noting that he feels a deep personal connection to Dubai. He plans to visit the UAE soon to celebrate his good fortune and officially begin this new chapter, famously remarking that the city has truly given him the world.
