UAE Denounces Drone Strikes on Saudi Oil Infrastructure
The United Arab Emirates has issued a stern condemnation following a series of drone strikes directed at Saudi Arabia’s crucial East-West oil pipeline. According to reports, these aggressive maneuvers targeted locations across the Riyadh and Madinah provinces, resulting in both property damage and several casualties. In an official statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs characterized the incident as a blatant disregard for Saudi sovereignty and a direct threat to the stability of the region.
Authorities have identified that the drones originated from Iraqi territory, prompting the Kingdom to proactively suspend operations along the pipeline to ensure safety. Expressing unwavering support for its neighbor, the UAE emphasized its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, backing the Kingdom's right to implement any necessary security measures to defend its borders and critical infrastructure from future acts of aggression.
