Marjan Beach's Ambitious 10-Year Expansion Plans
Ras Al Khaimah is set to witness a massive transformation as Marjan prepares to roll out its expansive waterfront district. According to Group CEO Abdulla Al Abdouli, the initial phase of earthworks for the development is nearing completion and should be finalized within the next two months. This project represents a landmark endeavor for the emirate, covering a staggering 85 million square feet, with a significant portion dedicated to green spaces and public areas. Key developers such as Omniyat, Wasl, and Beyond have already claimed their stake in the project, signaling strong confidence in the long-term vision which is slated for full completion over the next decade.
The development, which is expected to balance residential and lifestyle needs with 60 percent of the land dedicated to housing, will feature a mix of exclusive waterfront estates and family-friendly zones. While the broader Marjan Island continues to progress, it remains the focal point for major tourism milestones, including the highly anticipated Wynn Al Marjan resort now expected in 2027. Despite minor logistical hurdles involving global supply chains, leadership confirms that infrastructure efforts remain firmly on schedule. To boost visibility, the company has also launched the "Marjan Digital Universe," a new virtual platform designed to give global investors an immersive look at the island's evolving architectural landscape.
