Over 2,100 Emiratis Find Career Success Through Dubai’s Real Estate Empowerment Initiative

Tue, Sep 15, 2026(57m ago)Business

Over the past three years, the Dubai Land Department (DLD) has successfully spearheaded a drive to integrate UAE nationals into the private real estate sector. Launched in 2023, the 'Real Estate Empowerment Programme' has played a pivotal role in boosting Emiratisation by offering a comprehensive framework that includes career coaching, professional training, and effective job matching. By fostering clear paths for career growth, the initiative has not only attracted a significant number of local talents but has also proven instrumental in ensuring their long-term retention within the industry.

This achievement is the result of a strategic collaboration between the DLD, the Emirati Human Resources Development Council, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and the Nafis programme. As Dubai’s real estate market continues to thrive—contributing significantly to the emirate’s GDP with notable growth in early 2026—these efforts have helped align national talent with one of the city's most influential economic pillars. By creating a supportive environment and opening up diverse professional roles, the programme is successfully building a robust, sustainable pipeline of Emirati expertise to support the future of the nation's property market.
