UAE customers can now pay up to Dh20,000 ICP service fees through Tabby instalments

Sun, Jul 5, 2026(11h ago)UAE

The UAE's Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has officially introduced Tabby as a flexible payment option for its users. This new integration allows residents to settle service fees for essential documents—such as passports, visas, residency permits, and ID cards—through a "buy now, pay later" model. By offering the ability to split payments into manageable monthly instalments, the authority is making government services more accessible and financially manageable for a wider range of customers.

This rollout complements the "Easy Payment" initiative launched last year, which currently allows credit card holders to divide transactions over Dh500 into interest-free instalments through partner banks. With the addition of Tabby, users can now finance transactions up to Dh20,000 over a period of three to 12 months, depending on their individual credit standing. Customers can easily select their preferred payment method at the final checkout stage, reflecting the ICP’s ongoing commitment to leveraging digital innovation to streamline public services and improve the overall user experience.
