UAE Students Shine in IB Exams Despite Regional Challenges
The Class of 2026 across the UAE has demonstrated remarkable grit, achieving stellar results in their International Baccalaureate (IB) examinations despite a year marked by significant regional instability. Following the cancellation of final physical exams due to security concerns, the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) implemented its Non-Exam Contingency Measure to award grades. Far from hindering their success, these challenges highlighted the resilience of the student body, with many schools reporting performance well above global averages and securing spots at prestigious institutions like Cambridge, Imperial College London, and the University of Pennsylvania.
At Innoventures Education, the results were particularly impressive, with four studentsâNour Al Husseini, Kane Simpson, Aadit Chandrani, and Arnav Jayaswalâearning the perfect score of 45 points, a feat accomplished by fewer than 0.1% of candidates globally. School leaders and educators have praised the graduating cohort for their maturity and character throughout this unconventional year. As these graduates head off to study fields ranging from medicine to engineering, their success stands as a testament to the combined efforts of supportive families, dedicated teachers, and the unwavering determination of the students themselves.
