Sharjah International Book Fair Returns This November

Tue, Jul 7, 2026(45d ago)UAE

The 45th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) is set to return to the Expo Centre Sharjah from November 4 to 15. This highly anticipated 12-day cultural event will offer a diverse lineup, ranging from intellectual literary panels and youth-focused activities to specialized workshops designed for publishing industry professionals. Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), highlighted that the event has spent nearly half a century fostering a deep-rooted love for reading and bridging the gap between Arab culture and the global community.

This year’s edition is particularly notable for featuring Oman as the guest of honor. Attendees can look forward to an immersive cultural program that celebrates Oman’s artistic heritage and contemporary contributions to literature. In preparation for the festivities, the Sharjah Book Authority has officially opened the registration process, inviting publishers and industry-related organizations from across the globe to secure their spots via the Exhibitor Platform.
